Room Controllers work with HAI-UPB switches in a room to set scenes, turn the room on and off, and dim and brighten. The Room Controller is an optional device in an HLC System.
A Room Controller has 6 buttons:On (Brighten) Off (Dim)
A (Initially set to 80% brightness from the factory)
B (Initially set to 60% brightness from the factory)
C (Initially set to 40% brightness from the factory)
D (Initially set to 20% brightness from the factory)
The buttons glow dimly to act as a night light. An activated button glows brightly.
Setting a scene, such as reading, watch TV, or dining, is easy and does not require any programming or software. The scenes buttons use a feature of UPB called "links" that enables switches and room controllers to memorize scenes without a central controller.
The buttons may be custom laser engraved with their scene names using HAI Part Number 38A06-2.
